What these messages are
Sortline sends automated text messages on behalf of home service businesses. You will only receive a message if you first called that business’s phone number and the call was not answered. We do not send marketing messages, promotional offers, or messages to anyone who has not contacted the business directly.
How you consent
By calling a business that uses Sortline and leaving the call unanswered, you are contacting that business directly and requesting a response. The automated text reply is that response.
You are not added to any list. You will not receive messages unrelated to your call.
What you’ll receive
A message acknowledging your call and asking about your service need, and replies related to that conversation. Messages come from a number associated with the business you called, and the business name appears in the message.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your interaction with the business. Most callers receive one to three messages per call.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Sortline does not charge you for these messages; your mobile carrier’s standard rates apply.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one confirmation, and we will send no further messages to your number.
Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the information below.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is not guaranteed.
Privacy
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
